Bret Hessler

Beginning his career at 15 years old (a dishwasher – the backbone of the kitchen!), Chef Bret has worked with several acclaimed restaurateurs including the Schwartz Brothers, Wolfgang Puck, J.B.A winner Christopher Gross, Smith & Wollensky, Grove Bay Group and more. Lured by the authentic recipes and fast-paced energetic environment, Chef Bret joined the Hawkers family as the opening Executive Chef for Hawkers Delray Beach and has been cooking up a storm ever since!



Jim Gnehm

Jim is a hospitality veteran with a passion for the service industry that is truly unparalleled. Having held leadership positions at successful concepts such as J. Alexander’s, Bravo Brio Restaurant Group and P.F. Chang’s, it’s no surprise that he was a natural fit for the largest Hawkers location to date.

A graduate of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), Jim enjoys golfing, hiking, reading and traveling, when he’s not serving up some noms at the restaurant.
